I have the newest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter 4 which I am using to rip movies that DVD Shrink won't. When DVDFab finishes I open DVD Shrink, to of course shrink it, and depending on the movie all I can shrink it is anywhere from 100% to 95% which only about 100MB and does no good. Anybody know why this is happening?

Vob blanker opens the movie up
1)blank out all non video files ( preview all files )
2) blank out all control menu files associated with blanked file
3) if Lionsgate, blank out the 2 gearworks logos about 14Mb ea
4) it is different for each movie
5) blank out all undesirables
6) new outputted folder can now be shrunk by shrink
7) if not, you have more work to do with vobb

So you are saying that after using DVD Fab HD decrypter, you see red on DVD shrink meaning it cant fit on the DVD right?
I had an issue with several movies like Pursuit Of Happyness and Man on Fire, where after using DVD fab no matter what i did, even re-authering i could not get the bar to turn green and it was over the size.
All you have to do is hit analyze before you try and hit backup, it does the advanced analyze thing and once that is finished the bar will turn green and it will be the correct size, and show the correct encoding ratio
if this is NOT what you were talking about i apologize for misreading

So that's the trick! Thank you!
Pursuit of Happyness is the only movie I have had trouble backing up due to how it fools Shrink's compression setting, which stayed at 99%. I wonder what protection system does that??

It depends upon the CPU you have; If you are running, say, an older Pentium 4, then an hour and a half is about right. It also helps Shrink out to close any processes in the task bar you are not using to free up precious memory.
My Quad-Core Q9300 took 9 minutes on a sata HD.

Before I upgraded to a faster PC I used to close my internet connection (turned off my cable modem) and closed all my security programs such as antivirus and antispyware memory hogs just to gain some speed. It helped somewhat.
