Sorry if this isn't the right fourm to post this, didn't no which one.
I'm trying to convert an .avi to dvd (avi from download), I use CCE to convert it to MPEG2, then use Maestro. I wanted to split the dvd to fit on 2 dvd-r's so I use VobBlanker (I tried Ifoedit but it crashes), so with VobBlanker I make a new chapter, I then try and open it with DVD Shrink but I get an error: "Invalid DVD navigation structure". So I try and use pgcedit, don't no how to work it so I couldn't get anything out of it and I tried FixVTS and that didn't work.
What you are doing wrong is using way too many applications for a simple process. CCE works with The Film Machine, will output directly to DVD. DVD Flick also works great. Both are free.
Okay...I don't know how Maestro works and probably doesn't let you output in 2 DVDs...if you already have the DVD structure, just load it in DVD Shrink and split the DVD in 2 using the reauthor function, END/Start option. Should have the 2 DVD parts done in a few minutes.
You can split the Avi before conversion if you want.
