I am running 3.80 m33-5 cfw. My homebrew and normal psp functions work correctly, but I cant get remote play to work.

The PS3 says "there is no psp connected" when I plug my psp into it, and it doesn't matter whether I connect to private or internet because the ps3 tells me that I need to register the psp first in order to even try to connect.

Any ideas on what how to fix?

Thanks in advance!

To register go to settings on your PS3 and scroll down to remote play settings. click on Register device and connect a USB to the PS3 and to your PSP. this will link your device so that the PS3 knows what PSP that it will connect to. once that is complete go onto Remote play on the PSP and PS3. you should now be able to connect and use your remote play!

Thats what I was saying. I do that (and did it again to make sure) and I get "there is no PSP system connected".

Do I need to d/l any special software, or can someone possibly direct me to a solution for this somewhere?

Am I asking this question wrong or perhaps have a problem that is unique to my psp?

I have received a ton of help from the guides in this forum and most every problem Ive had - someone has asked on here and had a prompt and concise answer. This is my first time to ask a question on here myself.

I tried the solution ceeja suggested and the only thing that changed was the "private network" function on my psp no longer works.

Anyone have a clue on how I can get remote play working?

To anyone with this problem:

Run Chilly Willy's key cleaner - and follow his instructions exactly.

DO NOT FIX key #5 (aka - 00005) but DO fix all this rest.

This will enable you to use remote play.

update

I just upgraded to 3.9 m33 and ran 1.5 kernal addon for 3.9 as well on my fat 082/086 psp. I can now, play homebrew, play ps1 games, use remote play. =D
