I have just decrypted a film, using dvd decrypter. I was wondering how could i turn that file into 1080p, if possible, and play it on my ps3?

You say you decrypted a film using DVD Decrypter,so asuming the files you have are VOB wwhy dont you just burn the files to a blank DVD,the3 PS3 upscales DVDs to 1080p

What do you mean,nobody said anything about dvd-rw.

I was talking about putting your movie on a blank disc DVD-R or DVD+R.

The PS3 can read(I confirmed all the formats by checking the net,but i think it tells you all this in the instruction manual).

DVD-R.
DVD+R.
DVD-RW.
DVD+RW.
BD-ROM
BD-R.
BD-RE.
DVD-ROM.
CD-ROM.
CD-R.
CD-RW.
Super Audio CD(Excluding the 40gb model).

I always use DVD-R for backing up my DVDs and they work fine on my PS3

If you burn the ISO to a blank DVD and play it on the PS3 it will be upscaled,meaning that it is close to 1080p HD.

i was unable to play dvd rw, thinking that the ps32 does not support it.

Just get a blank DVD-R dude,i know for a fact that they work,and they are cheaper than DVD-RW.

actually dvd decrypter doesn't work anymore. DVDFAB HD works great.
