In DVD Shrink, once you opened the movie, removed the stuff you don't need, and hit "Analysis". Let it analyse, and then hit "Backup"

DVD Shrink won't read it. Neither will DVDFab. FixVTS didn't work. Running RipIT4Me now. 50% thru....looking promising. Sure AnyDVD would work, but my trial ran out......again!

So you dinn't have the movie ripped to hard drive yet? That's when you use FixVts and DVD Shrink, after the movie is ripped to your HDD.
If the latets version of DVDFab HD Decrypter doesn't work( is yours updated?), you might just have a bad press, need another disc.

I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD.
This one has a large bogus title in it - the one that's 1hr 5 mins.
If RipIt4Me doesn't work blank out that title w/ Vobblanker or try making it a still imge/pic in Shrink.

have ripped every movie that has come out over the last 5 years. know what i'm doing. dvdfab will rip to hd, but shrink hangs just after the menus. ripit4me hung too. had 3 or 4 titles over the last few week do this, saw 4 comes to mind. only way i got 'em to go was with anydvd and clone dvd, but my 21 day trial is up on all 4 of my computers. hate to have to format hdd's just to redownload, but since i am to cheap to purchase....maybe a virtual pc would be the answer....hmmmm

There is no cure for cheapness. You have used Anydvd and it has worked out well for you. When you purchase the product, you support the programming team which in turn allows you to enjoy the updates free for life. Anydvd is a good buy. Now reach down deep into your pocket and as painful as it will be, support the people at slysoft (the one' s up till now that helped you back up your valuable dvd collection for free ). Good job. Now it didn't hurt that much to buy Anydvd, one of the last great rippers there is!

@Zoso, Binkie did it your usual way, so my feeling is that you got 1 bum disc. Bummer!

well i finally got it backed up, cleaned it off running warm water on the dvd then ripped it with dvdfab decrypter with my Pioneer drive instead of the Lite-On.
edit
dvdfab decrypter ripped it then i cleaned with fixvts but clonedvd 2 , dvd shrink and nero redode 2 would not transcode it.
soooo
i used the anydvd ripper again using my Pioneer drive (after i cleaned the DVD) and it worked then clonedvd 2 was able to transcode and burn fine.
thats three brand new DVDs this week i had to clean off first before i could even back them up!

COPY WHY DID I GET MARRIED WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
To all, you can rip Why Did I get Married if you are using Clone DVD and Any DVD. 1st thing to do once the movie stop running is to Select Copy DVD Titles, as soon as you do that you will get an unexpected error. Choose the one that say Title 1 then you will see the movie, click next then you are on your way. You will get an 80% rip.

hit the 'analysis' icon at the top after you open the file (assuming you are using DVD shrink)
Doing another analysis solved the problem for me.

don't know if this is a scam or not, but has anyone heard of dvd shrink 2008. Is it for real, have you ever use it with positive success?

It's a scam! Anyone who wants to charge for Dvd Shrink is just looking for the next sucker.
It's no longer supported, but still available. No new Shrink! Ever! Nero Recode is Shrink's sister program.
