Region 1 (USA) games work on PAL ps3 over HDMI

Many are saying all games are region-free, others say only some are. But my question is, a game where there is the region 1 logo in the US, will it work on a PAL (EUR) PS3 over HDMI? Does HDMI remove region problems for games or does it not?

If you have an HDTV you dont need to worry about region restrictions as an HDTV dosnt have any.HDMI will however give you outstanding image and sound quality.

Also ALL PS3 games are region free,but this is also left to the game makers discretion,they can choose to region lock it if they want.
