OK, I had Windows XP for two years and had downloaded and run DVD Shrink 3.2 with IMG Burn. When I bought a new OS/Computer I downloaded Shrink again and IMG burn. Burn would open and Run, when I tried to run/open with IE the zip file, IE would just constantly Flash and finally tell me it could not find the path? VISTA has huge problems with my e-mail and other functions as well, but, I didn;t think I'd lose my capability to rip and burn back up of my movies? Please Help, as I'm not very tech oriented, please speak/write plainly. Thanks.
Both ImgBurn and DVD Shrink work fine with Vista, as does email, etc. I'm not sure what's causing your problem or even what the problem is. Is the problem that you can't get DVD Shrink to install? Just download DVD Shrink from the link below to your desktop.
Thanks, that link worked. I can't figure out what was going wrong. As for my e-mail, I used to have a tab/link that lit up 'yellow' when I had mail, it stopped doing it when I got VISTA. Thanks for helping me. :)
I suppose it's possible you email program isn't compatible with Vista for some reason. I'd check on that first. Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling your email program, maybe in compatability mode if nothing else works.
I called my ISP, they say my e-mail icon was moved and it was somewhere else, but, there is no sound or notification. :( Anyway, I downloaded everything, Shrink, DVD Decrypt and Imgburn. I got up to the point of Select Target Device, I chose ISO Image File with DVD Decrypter and I got 'Dvd encountered an Error and Cannot Continue. Specified Folder Is Invalid. Access is Denied'... ??? What now?? I never got one of those before? Sorry for being a pest, but, I'm lost on this thing. Thanks ahead of time for any help. :)
