I have been considering installing XP...but have been happy with my W2K Pro/ DVD Shrink relationship-free of quirks.

Question-Is or Isn't XP compatible with DVD Shrink?
If XP and DVD Shrink and (nero) don't behave- what is the definitive solution.

Which Nero program aligns with DVD Shrink and XP?
In the end-all these must align...
so is it the NERO burning Rom which is the fly in the ointment-or is DVD Shrink not always compatible with Windows XP?

Dvd Shrink is compatible with XP and Vista (in case you needed to know)

Sometimes in Vista it has to be run in compatability mode, but it works.

I normally don't use Nero...I use ImgBurn as my primary burn engine. I know Nero is compatible with XP, i think it works fine with Vista as well. Someone correct me if i'm mistaken.

EDIT: Grammar and spelling.

Not sure about Vista. But XP works great with dvd fab HD Decrypters and Dvd Shrink 3.2 And I use Nero 6.3.0.3 as my burn engine for Dvd Shrink and it works great too.

Is there any Windows application featured on this site that doesn't work with XP?

People have been running earlier versions of Nero on Vista(32bit). But with the 64 bit Vista, not all Nero is compatible. I think somewhere with version 7.5.*.* it started being Vista(64 bit) compatible. Having latest version 7 should be okay( should, but we're talking about Nero and Vista!)

Thanks one and all...a couple of years ago- I upgraded Nero to a newer version of 6. something and DVD Shrink would not work.
So I went back to an earlier ed.of 6 and no problems since-so when I upgrade to XP- I might be a little hesitant...but from what all responses have been it would appear that DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter will be compatible with XP and Nero.
thx

I can back up Dvd's on Windows XP extremely well and with the same ease as downgraded versions of Windows. I have estimated roughly 300 Dvd's and I had a few problems along the way. But that was also due to inexperience and the lack of knowledge in association and importance of always keeping a look out for future upgrade's of Dvd Fab HD Decrypter. I never realized how important it was to stay on top of it. Until I tried to back up "Fun With Dick And Jane". And I was only getting 20 to 30 minutes of the movie ripped. Apparently Dvd Fab HD Decrypter updated there decryption around five times since the last time I downloaded it. After I updated it. I had no problem with it what so ever. Sometimes it takes a little longer for some Dvd's. But in the end with a little time and Patience. All Dvd encryptions can be removed.

Cyprusrom-I am most impressed with your signature/logo...the yin/yang 3D spin... very nice.Did you design this?
If so...I may be interested in getting your info for a future design project and or web design etc
...and if you simply borrowed this-it is a compliment to your aesthetic taste.

@rik66
Thanks:~)!
I did not design it, I'm not that tallented:~)! Just something I am interested in, the asian food-movies-culture-philosophy!
I don't do web design, but my best friend here/room mate does! She was gonna make something for me, but it was easier to "borrow" it, since was already done!

Cheers!!
