When I start NFS Pro Street it says that it needs to update, but I never do it. I once tried but since it's 700+ MB and my router doesn't go very fast wirelessly, it took an hour just to download 20% so I stopped it.
But is it possible to download it via the PC, like ps3 firmware updates, and then put it on the ps3 with a pen drive?
Yea, you can download the PS3 updates themselves to memory stick... It's really weather you'd find this update and where you would go about finding it :)
Google it, but you most likely will come across something, very strange if you don't, but yes PS3 actually designed it to be able to do so
Yes you can download PS3 updates to a flashdrive, I do it all the
time, you have to create a folder on the drive named "PS3" (you have to use capital letters), then inside that folder create another folder named "UPDATE", then download the update into the second folder.
Plug the drive into your PS3 and goto to update in the settings menu and your all done.
As for updating NFS prostreet it should probaly work the name, but I can't say for sure. But give it a try, it won't do any harm.
