I've been using DVD Shrink for almost a year and have had very few problems, but recently, whenever I click the "Backup" button, the program quits responding and actually won't even close even when I choose the end the program.
Does anyone know what's causing the problem and/or a somewhat easy way to fix it?

Still doesn't seem to be working. Is there another program that I could use?

Any recent hardware/software changes to your pc?
When you uninstalled did you run a registry cleaner then defrag, then reinstall? If not, might start there.

That sounds like an encryption problem. You can try Anydvd . There's a free 2 week trial:

They have a free 2 week trial. It's a background ripper. Download it.When you see the little red fox lit up in the lower right corner tray, then she's running. Then open up dvd shrink and procede like normal.
