i just ripped a dvd with DVDFab decrypter and then shrank the file with DVD shrink 3.2 and now i dont know how to create a file on the hard drive

when you ripped the dvd with dvdfab and used dvd shrink the file is on your HD

ok i found out how to get a file on the hard drive but now when i try to put it in nero to make a dvd it says unabe to inseert video file hmmm....

what version of nero do you have?

use imgburn or dvd decrypter to burn (both freeware)

Dvd Shrink should autoburn right into Nero once it's finished transcoding.

Hello there- any movie thats ripped with dvd shrink will be placed where you specify- I use an external H book with more memory so that I dont use up all my memory on my "C" drive.
For instance- I may ripp "I am Legend"
When I rip the next movie the file named I am legend will remain the same name till I change it to something else.
I normally change it to MOVIE FILE and just leave it.
2008 has a lot of changes with movie protection, so its getting a lot harder to burn protected movies

Hello:
I just wanted to let you know that NERO is a real good and fast burning software, but roxio 9 and up will do just as good.
Roxio may be just a bit slower? just maybe- but there are lots of editing choices in roxio.
Its not that hard for me to find my movie file- its always directed to your "C" drive unles otherwise specified. good luck
