FYI This is not a copyright violation. I purchase all my movies from Costco, and make copies of them while storing the originals in my bedroom. It's so my kids can have access while I am away without destroying the expensive films ...
For some time now, a small % of the movies I buy and try to copy with DVD Shrink will freeze during the Analysing phase. It will get to a certain % and then completely lock up at a black screen. I just realized today, that I think the majority of the time the films are made by Disney... which is why I haven't been able to make myself copies of Ratatouille, Meet the Robinsons, No country for old men etc.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated, as I am already on my 3rd copy of meet the robinsons for my kids (great film) and it's getting expensive.
No problem, it'll do all those movies fine. Just make sure to keep it updated often, there's updates every week or so. Or just go looking for an update if/when a new movie gives you trouble.
DVDFab (freebie version) can rip in full disc mode or main movie mode, do one or the other then point DVD Shrink at the directory output by DVDFab, then just use Shrink as you normally would.
Can't believe it took me over a year to ask that question and get your response 20 minutes later... haha!!!
You have no idea how much money you just saved me ... if my kids could get paid for scratching the movies I purchased, I wouldn't have to spend a money on their college education. THANK YOU

[Oh Geeze.....] Now You Did It! - You encouraged him!
I had the same problem with freezing while analizing...I just removed the disk, cleaned it, and inserted again and all went fine for me. I didn't think it was that simple but it was :)
