Is there a way to view or stream media thru the ps3? I tried to watch a baseball game thru a website but all it did was load. I've seen orb thrown out a few times but what I think I've read was that it has to go thru the pc. Is that so?

You mean live TV I take it, I don't see why it wouldn't but I don't think that they have updated flashplayer on the PS3 yet so you may have to wait until they do that.

Not live TV. texassports.com has a media cetner that allows home games to be viewed over the internet. So instead of sitting in front of my computer monitor I want to be able to sit on the couch and watch the game over the internet from the ps3

The only way i know how to stream to the ps3 is via Orb like you did say, that was so i could watch Sopcast streamed football on my TV.
I have never came across another option.

I tried to use Tversity at first but i had no joy, so i created a thread on Afterdawn, in the end i used Orb, but i've never taken it any further to be honest, just toyed about with it, and i did get a decent stream most of the time. Orb was a complete resource hogger on my standard PC World desktop.

Ok I did the ORB thing and that is not what I want to do. I want to be able to go to texassports.tv and watch media from there. Is there a way to do that?
