Hi people, iv just recently gotten a PS3, 40gig version.
It says it cant play PS2 games on it, i was hoping to get that version but as things turned out i couldent.
Anyways, wondering if anyone knows if there are mods, or offical hardware/software that allows ps2 games to be played? or if there is somthing in the works for it.
yes i think there is.....i did have the 40gb but i upgraded to 250gb im after the same thing.......only 20gb, 60gb, 80 gb consoles play ps2 game .......thnx

No there are no mods at the minute but hopefully in the future there will be. By the way if your getting used to your PS3, go to settings, then I think its display settings and one option says RGB Limited, change that to RGB full. Its supposed to make your games look better, some sites were apparently leaving it on limited when comparing a game to a 360 version, so the 360 would look better. Thats what I heard anyway, may not be true.
