I have a 5 year older shrinkdvd program that I get a reduncy error on some of the new dvds. I notice this happening with the newest dvds that advertise blueray commercial on their dvds...they are usually greysilver

3.2 is the latest version of dvd shrink

Its most likely a copy protection issue being dvd shrink can't handle the newer movies without help. You asked why? its because dvd shrink isn't updated anymore. So you need to rip with dvdfab decrypter first before transcoding with dvd shrink or use anydvd behind dvd shrink. here is the most up to date info on how to backup your DVDs vvvvvvv
