Hi once again guys, Seems like everytime I have a problem or a question this is the place for help. thanks a lot for the info you guys give here. OK so on to the problem.

I have a very large collection of PS2 games and my PS2 system is broken. So I went out today and bought a 40GB PS3, which was the only one the stores carry anymore. I didn't know it would not play PS2 game when I bought it. So I was wondering is there ANY LEGAL way to make it play PS2 games? And also is there any way that I will ever be able to install a larger hard drive than the 40GB? Can it be hooked up to my computer where i have dual 500GB hard drives and use them for storage? I know I am asking a lot but if anyone has the time for help I would be very greatful. Thanks a lot guys and good gaming.

Unfortunately, as far as i know the 40gb PS3 will never be able to play PS2 games, as it just doesn't have the hardware in place to do it.

Also, i dont think that there is anyway to hook your PS3 up to your PC...you can however use a external USB HDD, or you can swap your 40gb HDD for any 2.5" SATA HDD (although its best to stick with 5400rpm drives to avoid overheating issues) in minutes.

sorry m8...the 40gb version is the only one that will never play ps3 games its becuase the ps doesnt have the hardware and there is no software been discoverd to make it play them yet...

U can only connect your ps3 to computer through windows media player 11 but that is only to send music, videos, and pictures as far as i know...
