Ps3 themes not saving???

i've recently downloaded themes for my ps3, i set them up ok and everythings fine, but after i've switched off and back on the next day its back to the default screen. Is that the way its supposed to be? anyone else have same problem?

I,ve never came across this before... are they saved to your PS3,s hard drive or an external drive?
Even at this it shouldnt matter... as its saved to the PS3,s flash...

Mine will do that if i hook my ps3 up to a normal TV and then go back to my HD TV, I think it has something to do with the background being HD so a normal TV dosnt like it so it switches it back to default theme?

the themes are stored on the ps3 under theme settings, also no matter what tv i run the ps on, the themes won't save
