Hi,
I would like to unlock my phone.
It's a Samsung sgh-m110.
Provider: Pannon GSM (Hungary)
IMEI: 35817601016798/501
Could you give me a code for it, please?
Thanks,
Istvan

BACK UP YOUR FILES BEFORE UNLOCKING
This will also bring the phone to default settings
1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878# (star 2767 star 2878 hash)
turn off the phone
2. take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert a half of it,
so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.
Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on .(phone shows "Insert SIM" message.)
3.With out turn off the phone push the sim fully in. At this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
4. Make a FULL reset by typing: *2767*3855#(star 2767 star 3855 hash)
5. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
6. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#(star 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros star 8zeros hash)
7. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000#(hash 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros hash)
Phone is unlocked (check with *#7465625#)
If you find that SPLock is still on afterwards follow the below
After you do the reset, check and make sure that your network lock is active by pressing *#7465625#. If it isn't active you must use this code to reactivate it, *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#. Then you have to deactivate the sp lock first. To do that you need to input *7465625*77*00000000*00000000#, (this will reset the lock) then you enter #7465625*77*00000000# (to disable the sp lock). Then you disable the network lock #7465625*638*00000000# and the phone is finally unlocked.

okay and can we send the bill to you when you found out your phones imei number is 000000000000 and bluetooth is not working anymore, or when you have the message "phone freeze" on the screen ?
if you are willing to refund the repair costs of this then you can try it, this is only working on older models. on new phones it will erase the eprom with all the cal-data so your phone will become a nice paper-weight :)

I've performed this on two phones purchased from Tesco about two weeks ago no probs. I have also placed these instructions on two other forums where at least 4-5 other people(who have bothered to write back) have successfully perfomed the above instructions with newly purchased phones, no other reports this busting phones.
The only thing I can suggest is that you have done something wrong?

Cool - got my Tesco m110 today off eBay, once I figured out to do stage 3 (inserting the SIM without removing the battery) the job was done in about 3 minutes and has worked! Thank you very much!
To insert the SIM whilst leaving the battery powered on, I got a paper clip and bent it with a 90 degree angle. Obviously the back of the phone is open, so I held the battery at about a 30 - 40 degree angle out of the battery compartment whilst ensuring firm pressure was applied at the top battery to ensure the contacts at the bottom of the battery were touching. I then used the paper clip to push the 'wrong' SIM firmly into the slot. Fiddly - but not too difficult.
Receiving text messages from Vodafone on my previously locked Tesco mobile. Very many thanks.

Hi I also have a vodafone sim.
Am having trouble resetting the SP lock. when i type *7465625*77*00000000*00000000# to reset it, i get "Warning, no lock code in SIM".
Then when i type #7465625*77*00000000# to disable the sp lock, i get "wrong password"
Sorry if this is a newb question, but I am lost as to where to go from here.
Thanks

yes and i still get no lock code in sim when trying to reset the sp lock.
I presume the "Wrong sim" is the sim that you want to unlock, i.e. in my case the vodafone sim?
Thanks

No. The 'right' sim is the the one that the phone works with. The 'wrong' sim is the sim that you have from another phone and you want to work in this locked phone.

its the opposite, depending on how you look at it.
I've found doing a custom reset and following the instructions with the other sim works for me finally.
In my case the wrong sim is the sim that works in the phone, and the right sim is the one that I want to work in it.

:) Ah well - try it that way. If it works - great. if it doesn't - try it the other way. That way - at least one way is going to work! :)

Yes - just follow the original instructions including the paragraph at the bottom about the SPlock.
If you find that SPLock is still on afterwards follow the below
"After you do the reset, check and make sure that your network lock is active by pressing *#7465625#. Then you disable the network lock #7465625*638*00000000# and the phone is finally unlocked."

Hi
I also have a SGH-M110 locked (austria).
Steps 1-4 work fine, but the phone doesn't reboot at all when i reset it-it even doesnt reboot with the original (=unlocked) sim inside; it just shows
"Samsung
SGH-M110
GPRS Dual Band"
and doesn't react until i take out the battery.
Has anyone an idea to continue?
With best regards
Hugo

I finally got my Tesco's M110 unlocked. I found that with the Vodafone SIM, I could not get the SP unlocked. I therefore followed all the instructions again with the Tesco's SIM in. I could then unlock the SP lock and the Network lock
I have now put my Spanish Vodafone SIM in, and all seems to be working.
Now all I need to work out is why when I plug in the USB cable I bought, I get a "USB Device not recognized" error
Thanks

Hi
I successfuly unlocked my phone by following the steps above. It was a uk phone locked to O2. put mu Orange sim in and no problems.
Thanks again
P.s If you don't have a paper clip to hand, use one of your girlfriends hair clips.. they're a little stronger.

Hi stefou93,
I had the same problem.
1) simply but the sim card u want to use in a phone it works with.
2) Turn off the PIN-Code Requestion so u can swith on the phone without Inserting a PIN Code
3) Now put the SIM Card into the SGH-M110 and continue with the transcribed steps.
It solved the problem in my case.

OMG, thanks a lot lue2 !!
indeed, you're right when you say that the pin code must be disabled on the card which you want to use the phone.
in brief (because i have a poor english no ? lol)
if you do steps 1 to 4 with no problems, and after the eprom full reset , you see a freezed screen which say "shg m110 dual band ..."
, you have to disable the pin code on your sim card and redo all the steps.
thanks again lue2 !
good luck to all !
ps: you never need a "right sim card"
=> right sim card is the card which boot the phone
=> wrong sim card is the card which can't boot the phone.
