I live in England and im going to america later on this year and I just want to know if i buy a game over there will it work here on my UK PALPS3 console?
I know that PS3 is a multi region console but with pal and ntsc will...if i get a ps3 game from america be black and white on my u.k pal ps3 console?

Actually, it would depend on the game. Games have different algorithms for choosing servers such as latency and bandwidth. Some games don't take place of residence into account at all. However, if you're living in the US, you may want to update your address on the account settings so you can access the US playstation store, if that's a problem for you.

It's probably not even worth it to buy the game in the US then because not everyone has an HDTV and if you bring it over to someones place they may not have one.
