I have just found an article that states that the next PS3 firmware update (v2.30) will support DTS-HD Master Audio. It will also include a revamped Playstation store.

Is it comparable to xbox marketplace? I dunno. I've never seen it (nor am I gonna lose sleep over it if PSN isn't better or not). Just curious.

I'm glad they are overhauling it. The preview video/screens for the games is cool.

Navigating the original store sucked. It was always counterintuitive.

Ive never seen the Xbox marketplace. Dont really care.

I like the update, it looks alot smoother and faster now, and the preview thing looks good. Now we can watch trailers without having to download them to the HDD if we want.
Is the update next Thursday? (17th)
I read on QJ.net that Japan gets the update on Tuesday (15th)
Does that mean that those of us with a Japanese account will be able to get the update early?
