i willing to buy a modchip and i want to boot from hdd ,memory card and cd so which modchip makes me swap booting from those devices

Don't know what Version PS2 you have but I am guessing its a FAT version and an IDE hdd you are talking about.
You need to be good at soldering to install this modchip.

Your best bet is probably the DMS4 Pro - ToxicOS v0.41

The ToxicOS has a menu that lets you go to other programs etc.

i got ModBo 4 modchip but i don't know if it is compatable with toxic os or not shall i try or not

No , the Toxic OS is only for the DMS4 modchip.

Each modchip has its own features.

The modbo 4 Supports DEV1 and DEV2 for memory card booting so you can boot other ELF files.

Not a problem, I know consolesource.com has them. I don't know if they ship to the states or not.
Their site is having issues at the moment but sure it may be fine when you check.

Checked them out, they do have what I am looking for and for $30 man!
Their policy though is that they don't ship to the United States. :( Maybe someone here on AD (not in the states) could order it and resell it to me? Don't know if this is allowed though....

No its designed only for the DMS4, just as Matrix Infinity has its own software.

Your modbo 4 is a clone of the matrix infinity.
You will be able to use the matrix software.
But read the clone section of the tutorial.

I have been checking these out and you do realize the DMS4 are being discontinued. So not sure what type of support you would get.

Probably better to go with a http://www.modchip.ca/store/product.php?...&cat=268&page=1 is the latest.

These guys look pretty legit. I am aware that the DMS4 has been discontinued, but it seems to be the most feature packed.

I saw the chip you recommended, it looks pretty good. I also saw the crystal chip, its original price was $60 and costs the same as the other chip. What are your thoughts on the crystal chip?

The crystal chip looks good too and I was going to mention it.
It has a boot manager also.

But what concerns me about this chip is the support and why the site doesn't work for them.

I was able to find this info on the crystal chip. So I don' think it'll too bad, having the site not working.

Though my ps2 is a slimline (V14)(SCPH-77001) and I'm not quite sure a crystal chip will work for my model. I know the other chip will (cause it says so 'will work with all slimlines released in the past 5 years).

Edit: dang, I forgot you need to be registered to view stuff on eurasia. There is a bunch of info though, like 2 pages worth.

Yes good info on eurasia. I have been registered there for a long time now.

It supports up to the V18 according to this site.

You know, I am not sure. I thought it did say Pro 2 SLE.

Looking at both pictures the numbers are the same on the chip, but still I am not sure.
Might have to ask them or just get the the one from foundmy.com

Yeah man, I'm going to go ask them. I highly doubt I will purchase from foundmy.com considering their reviews on resellerratings.com
