I have installed dvd shrink on my new computer(Pentium D 3.00/1.5 ghz, 2gb ram) and everytime I preview/play a movie in the window at the bottom right of the dvd shrink screen, I plays in slow motion with no audio. I have not encountered this problem before even on my Pentium 3 900ghz, 512mb ram test computer. Any suggestions? I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail.

tigers89,
Do you have Direct X installed?
Do you have all of the necessary video codecs installed?

Download the K-Lite mega codec pack and see if that straightens things out for you.

I have directx 9c. I downloaded the codecs and it improved the video a little bit and now I have audio (though choppy). I have onboard video so I don't know if that is a bottleneck.

Yeah the onboard video assuming it's intergrated ain't the best for viewing movies in shrink especially when attempting to use the slider..lol..,a AGP or PCI graph card will go along way & would be worth the investment if your doing a lot of movies

Yeah, I know. The only reason I am stuck with the onboard video right now is all of my video cards are AGP 8x and this board only handles PCI or PCI express. I can live without the slider for now as my burns have no problems. I just have to scratch some pennies together for a new card :0. Thanks for all your help.
