In a nutschell this is what u r trying to do
1) each file typically (uncompressed movie only) is about 5-6 Gbs
2) a single layer dvd has about 4.3 Gb or recordable space
3) even if you get only 2 movies onto 1 disc, you need to compress 10-12 Gbs of data to 4.3 Gb. A compression ratio of 27.9-43%
THIS MEANS YOUR MOVIE ARE GONNA SUCK BIG TIME WHEN YOU WATCH THEM
5) Am I clear ?
6) As stated previously, Is this what you want ????
BTW the reason you get the Nero error message is that you cannot fit that much data onto a recordable disc. This akin to saying "You can't get a quart of water into a pint sized jug."

Are the movies decrypted onto the HDD or are u just trying to copy on the fly disc to disc via Nero ?

Father iluvendo is right on here.
If you put multiple movies on one SL disc, the quality will be terrible.

You talk about using DVDShrink to put more than one movie on a DVD, do you do that by using the "re-Author" option by opening up the 2 movies and "pull" them over to the window on the left like you do when you want to eliminate the menus? WHAT format does the movies have to be in? VOB?

Yes.
Otherwise DVD Shrink will not recognize them.
