Hi
Does anyone know the frequency range for Celtic TV. Mine hangs anytime I press the channel.
I've tried manually retuning it using the frequency range listed in the following URL, 683.000:

but no joy.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers

Delete the channel first before autoscan.

Alright scouser,
I tried that but all I seem to be getting was 1/45 frequencies. I tried manual on the frequency listed in the pinned thread but it didn't pick up the frequency. I'll have a look at the pinned topic and see how it is suggested to be able to scan for the 54 frequencies.
Cheers

I tried using the lowest frequency range i.e. 291.000 (as advised in the pinned thread) and managed to be able to tune a heap more channels in. Unfortunately I didn't get Celtic TV and other channels in this frequency range.
Anyone know what the frequency range is for Celtic TV. I'm in Dublin.
Cheers

Have you tried a manual scan on that frequency. Menu, Installation OK and down to manual Scan OK and Enter the frequency in Down Frequency and press OK (do not enable)it will bring in all the channels on that frequency, they will probably appear at the end of your channel listings. It will be quicker to do it from one of the affected channels has the frequency will already appear in Down Frequency.

Im not aware of freq 458 on N*L Dublin
Delete the channels that are not working for you on that freq and do either an Auto Scan on N*L or see list below for channels on 299.000 which seems to be your problem , new channels found will appear at the end of your ch@nnel listing :)
299.000
MUTV

Celtic71 and malci, Thanks for answering.
I am in Waterford on NTL.
458.000 is showing as frequency for channels on screen although there is no signal showing in scan menu.
I have deleted channels and done both manual scan on 299.000 and auto scan.
Found NASN, MTV Dance, MGM on 299.000 which i have already
Auto scan only seems to run from 370250 on my Starview.
Can you give any further advice please

I am in central Scotland same problem, channels disappeared FX,horror and many others including racing UK, I have tried re-flashing box, and clearing factory settings I can still get most channels but I cannot get all?
I will try to re-tune later this evening.

It could be a transponder down in your area that feeds them channels when you reset your box make sure you turn it off at the back then back on and rescan it ok

There is a transponder down in that area, VM are waiting on enough people to ring and report it as per usual.

Hi all I'm missing the same channels as scull, I have done a factory reset (after turning off box for 1 min) = no joy.
I have also tried manual scan on the 458 & 299 frequencies & still no joy.
I'm in Galway, I have a St@rview original API ver 4.00e_E
can anyone help?

thanks Des (& gman)it says there the freq is 458.000
unfortunately that is not bringing up any channels for me.
just to make sure it is not me, i am going.....
menu > installation > manual scan > down frequency = 458.000 MHz > OK
I am leaving everything else the same
symbol rate = 6887 ksps
constellation = 64 QAM
network scan = disable
am I doing something wrong?
