unfortunately that is not bringing up any channels for me.
just to make sure it is not me, i am going.....
menu > installation > manual scan > down frequency = 458.000 MHz > OK
I am leaving everything else the same
symbol rate = 6887 ksps
constellation = 64 QAM
network scan = disable
am I doing something wrong?
Have you tried a manual scan on that frequency. Menu, Installation OK and down to manual Scan OK and Enter the frequency in Down Frequency and press OK (do not enable)it will bring in all the channels on that frequency, they will probably appear at the end of your channel listings. It will be quicker to do it from one of the affected channels as the frequency will already appear in Down Frequency.

Hi all, I have been flashing a lot of eurovox's for friends and familly etc but a mate asked if I could do his thebox pvr, I flashed it no problem with 081208fix but when trying to scan I can't get any signal or quality both stay at 0% and so no channels. I used the auto scan on 1952. Am I missing somthing simple or may this box be faulty? any sugestions would be apreciated.

Delete the channel and try doing a manual scan at the lowest frequency. Mine is 291.000, obviously dunno where ye are so couldn't confirm this is your lowest frequency but I know the frequency range's are posted somewhere on the site for differing area's.
It should come in at the end of your channel listings on the starview box.

If you want to try a Manual Scan do the following, - From the Affected Channel (Setanta) Press Menu, OK on Installation, Go down to Manual Scan and press OK again, and you will see the frequency you have posted 283.000Mhz appear in Down Frequency, just press OK and it will scan on that one frequency, when finished it will show you what was found. Wait for saving and then exit out to TV, you will most likely find the channels found at the end of your listings, just re-order in Channel Edit and delete the non working one/s. (It may solve your problem, no harm in trying, good luck)

but no joy.
I had the same problem but got it sorted, could not get this station whatever i tried, phone my friend who had the same box and his station was fine, he lives about 3 miles away, I took my box to his house, re scanned on his cable and low and behold it came back and its still there today after 5 months, try it, it worked for me.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
