PeerGuardian McAfee conflict?

I read my mcafee firewall won't work with peerguardian. Under peer guardian settings view history; blocked, I see mcafee.com range as blocked. Does this mean there is a conflict? Since I have a router should I consider removing mcafee anyways and just using windows firewall instead?

The IP range being in the block list does not necessarily mean a conflict. That usually comes from someone using those IPs for P2P and since it is a security company that can look suspicious. Happened recently with NOD32 I believe.

However, there is an issue between McAfee and PG2. See this post at phoenix forums:

I had free McAfee (Comcast) and still dumped it as I found it to be a pain. I switched to sunbelt kerio (free). There are some free firewall suggestions here:
