DVD shrink very slow lead out error burning with Nero

Hi
I have a NextTech 20X external Drive, and also Nero Version 7.
I don't have any logs to post...but well here is my problem:
I have been trying to burn TDK 1-16X Dvd-r at 8X and I also tried Sony's at the same speed with DVD Shrink and Nero, and Imgburn. With dvd shrink- it would burn the disc but when it writes the lead-out --it takes 5 or more minutes so slow. First I thought it was a media problem with TDK, so I switch to Sony--same thing happened.
Then I thought it was the driver's problem- so i check if dma mode is one and it was on. How do I find the burn logs for dvd shrink- if i knew how, I could post the burn logs. Can someone help me? This problem is bothering me and I cannot burn any disc and have 20 coasters already/ thanks in advance

Try looking in C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero.
You should see a file called NeroHistory.log.

Nero 7 log
Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory.txt
or
Program Files\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Ahead\NeroHistory.txt

The TDK media is not very good.
Here is a list of 16x DVD-R meida codes.
TDK uses six different discs and slaps thier brand on them.
The Sony disc should be good.
