Okay I'm new to all this DVD Shrink stuff and this may be a 100% stupid question but here it is anyway... I have the movie Robots on my computer. It's a .mpg file, but will not fit on a normal dvd. So can I use DVD Shrink to shrink it? Do I have to convert the file type and if so how do I do that?! I just want the darn movie on DVD so my daughter can watch it!

DVD Shrink only works with standard DVD formatted file folders, disks, or image files.

Try 'DVD Flick' to convert the .mpg to DVD format - and optionally burn the disk.
Check the project settings for the output you need.
Especially note the 'Target Format' in the 'Video' section.
In North America, choose 'NTSC', anywhere else is 'PAL.
If you want to burn the disk, select that option under the 'Burning' section.
The program includes a concise guide.
