I've been using DVD Shrink 3.2 for some time and it's been working out great...until recently. Previously, both analyzing and backing up go by real quick, however, lately, DVD Shrink 3.2 would stall prior to analyzing or prior to backing up. Eventually it would say "(Not Responding)". At one point, I did get pass these bumps but then backing up would stall at 1%. How come a program that worked fine before is now starting to act up? Some sort of virus? bug? memory issue? Should I download a newer version of DVD Shrink?
Has anyone faced the same symptoms before? Any solutions? Thanks for your help!
My specs (I'm not sure if all of these are relevant, let me know if you need more info):
HP Pavilion a6244n desktop PC
OS MS Vista
HD 500 GB HD, 7200 rpm
Memory 3 GB, speed supported PC2-5300 MB/sec
DVD Shrink 3.2
Nero Ultra 8
Thank you for the replies. If it is an issue with encryption, wouldn't DVD Shrink give me an error message rather than getting stalled at certain steps? Or are these common symptoms of DVD Shrink when it is unable to break an encryption? I guess one thing I could try is to rip a DVD that I had successfully ripped before.
