problem with dvd shrink

I tried to rip and burn with dvd shrink v3.1.3, it ripped the movie perfectly but when i tried to burn it failed, the message was: that the burning failed but the files where written onto my hdd and i could burn it with a other prgr.
I tried to burn with nero 6.0 but the dvd dos not play on either my pc or my standalone.
What did i do wrong??
The only message i get is that the dvd is damaged or dirty?, what am i doing wrong?
can someone please help a newbie

It is best to rip and compress to a folder using DVD Shrink. Then to burn with Nero. there is a guide for 5.5.10.52 on my website, it will be similar to 6. Follow it - in my signature

hi oriphus: very much thanks for your help on this issue, i visited your site, great info!!!.
i think i know now what i did wrong!, i tried to burn my movie with Nero express instead of Nero burning rom.
stupid ;) but i`m still learning, i hope you and all of the experienced people on this site are patient with me because i have a lot to learn!!.
further more excuse me if i make typing errors, i`m from europe so i can`t help it :)
