I have bought my ps3 in US. It is a 60GB model. Now i moved back to India. I want to buy Metal Gear Solid 4 and other games from ebay in India. I have heard from a friend that ps3 games are region free? Is this true? Please let me know regarding this so that i can start buying games in India itself instead of shipping it from US.

You friend is correct. PS3 games are region free.

The games themselves are region free, the online part of the game isn't. So you will have to connect to the servers where you bought the game from rather than the ones in your region.

I've always wondered that if I were to buy a Japanese version of heavenly sword(wich has way better box art :P) or any other game for that matter, would it still support English language?
