Just wondering. Do you necessarily need to copy a dvd to one disk. Will it copy it to 2 if needed?
Also, I uncheck the foreign audio when I copy. Later I notice that in the audio.ts folder, there are no files. Why is the folder empty? Shouldn't the English audio be there?

I have the same question, yes DVD Shrink will compress and you can strip unwanted credits and menus and that's great for some DVD's that you can still get great quality out of by doing that technique - what if you cannot? How do you burn the split movie in Nero? I am sorry if I am an annoyance because of being new here, I am just eager to learn and this forum is dynamite. I have been reading here for about the last 2 hours and this is the only thing I have not read about. Thanks!

Hi Guys,
Yes you can split your movie into two. This means that no compression will be needed, however your menus won't work..
DVD Shrink works fine for this, You just go into re-author and select the first half of the chapters and burn your first disc. Then just repeat the process with the second half of the chapters for your second disc.
There are other programs that make this a bit more automatic, DVD Fab is one of them.
Cheers,
Frank

Well I don't think it will do that..But U can use DVDFab.It works great....Any the audio folder is allways empty. The audio is in the VOB files.
With Nero Express go to Dvd-video files, then double click on the VIDEO_TS folder then just drag the VOB files of the outputed "splited VIDEO_TS" folder into it and thats it.
Well if after striping down the dvd and still don't get good quality.Try to remove extras, extra audio, menus, and any subs it has...If It's still not that good you might want to slipt the dvd into 2 instead of just 1

Thanks! That makes sense to re-author half the DVD then re-author the rest to split the DVD into 2 discs. I appreciate all the help.
