Hello all, I have tried dvd express which worked fine for a while then all of sudden it would lock up pc after message insert blank ? Ok, so I moved on to shrink 3.1.4 seemed to the winner then then I made a backup and disk was empty ? What's the best solution here? I'm ready the 510a is not as good as it suppose to be

shrink isn't your problem. It only will back up to the hdd. how are you burning, what program, what media(type and brand). what kind of problems (be more specific) are you having with the burn.

I'm tried memorex media didn't work to well, so I purchased Sony that seemed to work better. For some reason Xpress locks up PC afer it gets to load blank dvd ??
