yesterday i tried playing a divx on PS3 with subtitles but it didnt work.

after trying that i looked on the web on howto but didnt really find something usefull.

i tried adding the subs and divx into one file with SubMux.
they play good and nice on my computer but when i try to play them on the PS3 it says File is broken (the original file without the subs works on PS3 ) so its not the movie itself.

does anyone know how you can watch divx on PS with subtitles?

cause i use subs too and i had some issues the easiest ways is:
From DVD DVDfab platinum, subs+5.1 sound and to add subs to avi, AVIAddXSub it is free, fast and works.

ok so i tried it...

i loaded the .avi into aviAddXsub and the program did its job.

when i tried to look at it on my PC i could watch it but no subs.
when i tried it on my PS3 it said file type no supported :S

What Firmware ver you have installed?
Are sure that the Avi was playable to PS3 before adding the subs?
Download mediainfo and see the details/info of your file to see if it is playable by your PS3 or try another file, maybe the file is the problem after all.

From the 2nd card of AviaddSubs mark
use .avi for output files if possible
Mark divX as: xvid
if you get a playable video press the triangle during playback and select subtitles.
