Backing up dvd's using DVD Decryper and DVD Shrink

I've been using this method for a number of years already without any problems. I downloaded and printed a manual from this site at the time called Backing up your DVD with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Now its starting to fall to pieces. Where can I go to download another one?
Second query is on the write speed. In the manual I have which is years old the recommended write speed is 4X which I continued over the years to use. Is that still the norm or can I set the write speed much higher than that now?

Dvd Decrypter & dvd shrink are no longer being updated. Most of us use either dvdfab or any dvd. Normally I burn at half what the media is rated. 16x I burn at 8x.
