Hello, new to the forums, but have been backing up dvd's for a while. I normally use dvd decryptor or shrink. I would like to back up a dvd. The dvd is in "new" condition. No visible marks or scratches on the dvd. It is an ORIGINAL copy from manufacturer.
PROBLEM: DVD SHRINK- "Cyclic Redundancy Check"? I cant get past this...
PROBLEM: DVD DECRYPTOR- Decrypts the first 3 files, then stops, then an error pops up saying "W 11:56:13 Failed to read Sector 779856 - Unrecovered Read Error"
I've been reading the threads for 2 days now and I cant find a solution. I've tried the VobBlank, but upon using Shrink afterwards, I get another error about "not enough space", then Shrink just closes. I cant see the "preview" either, or Shrink will just close. I tried the "FIXVTS" tool, and that was ZERO help.
Can someone provide a step-by-step on how to circumvent these problems in Shrink and Decryptor? I really want to back this movie up...THANKS....
