Hi
I bought the TheBox Super-Starview 3 a few months ago and it has been working fine (in Dublin). However, I have just moved house and I can't get it to work again. I've done an automatic scan with both En-T-El and Coeras and it runs to 100% but then says that 0 programs are found. I've reset it to factory setting and repeated but still no luck. Any ideas advice?

Have you moved outside Dublin? If so you might be MMDS & not cable.

Still in Dublin (Dublin 18). Search runs fine and before I reset it, it found channels but a message came up saying they were scrambled/bad.

menu > 1570
Turn "key emu" On
Go to Set Default key > press ok
Exit to s*y sports & wait for it to update.

I have tried that but when I get exit I still get back to the installation menu and when I run another scan, same problem emerges i.e. runs to 100% but then says that 0 programs are found?

I found that the best download for the Dublin area was the 6.01 why dont you re flasdh it again using this?
also please check before hand that your connections are in the right places

I am in the same boat purchased the box all seems to be connected good but am getting a no signal message.. Have tried all the above ideas and nothing, Am working of chorus in the Limerick area in ireland can anyone help ...

Mark are you in the city or out in the sticks? do you have an chorus cable direct to the house or are you MMDS, will you press menu, then system info and tell me what it says!

Am in raheen in limercik city what is MMDS ??
When you now press menu it asks to put in the language then it goes to installation menu !!!

Ok thats fine..... you haven,t yet flashed the box, this is why you cant pass the language page, if you press both links under my sig you will get the tutorial how to flash and the other is the required downloads!

What will flashing the box do ??
As i had all the channels names when i got it but was getting " no signal " coming up...
So I read a fourm and it said to reset the factory settings ??

Flasing the box means you aare putting on the latest firmware that is required to work the box, however if you are saying you get no signal,try this:
Language
Install
N*L
autoscan (this takes about 5 mins)
save exit,exit press1570
turn EMU ON
exit and go to sly sports
it should then say updating data, and then clicks in

Sorry to bother i asked my girlfriend to do the steps you just said she said when she does the autoscan its just keeps saying failed for all the searchs

Mark dont mind the failed message just let it go up to 100% and you will see then how many channels you get, it can take 5 mins or more biut let it finnish!!

yes have an aerial and only got chorus in the other day and its working perfect...
would the box be faulty ??

Mark did your G?friend get that sorted?
when you say you have an ariel on the roof is it a small square yoke or is there cable coming directly into your house?

no its the small square yoke....
See when she did the scan it failed everytime and can't go to sky sports channel as there are no channels showing only setup mode...

thats what i was thinking your starview 3 super box will not work as you are in a MMDS area you need a BOX T....sorry!!!
