I play team fortress 2 alot, but in the household, we use the intenet alot for youtube, etc. Needless to say, when videos are being downloaded, the game stutters and i have to wait for the videos to finish before resuming the game. Is there anyway to be able to play online games and visit youtube?

Get a router with a QoS engine or something similar that will prioritize the gaming traffic.

probably not if things are running fine in the first place like ur youtub or ps3 dont stutter on there own, than ur probly not having problems with ur ports being restricted its more a bandwidth issue, if ur ps3 or youtub was slow while just running by its self than ur more looking at having to do sum port forwarding, even at that u might hav a slow internet package to begin with do u know what package u have?

Port Forwarding is to ensure that the right packets are sent to the right IP address, I do not think it will make a huge difference, but give it a go or just put your PS3 in a DMZ for the same results.
