Nokia 2600 for Telstra Australia is the most difficult one I have come across.
There seems to be a general difficulty with Australia.
Each phone is allowed only a few tries before it is hard locked.
3 to 5 tries. It still works but you will need a cable and a thing-a-me-giggy to unlock it.
I would like to see if I can figure out the right code.
I can only think of 4 or 5 ways.
The problem is that people who have requested codes for the 2600 have not replied after getting the codes.
Remember that each phone uses a unique code.
I need 5 owners of 2600 phones on Telstra Australia that are willing to reply if and when it works. If you have posted a request and are willing, reply to this with "I will" and I will look for your INFO in the Thread.

restrictions off means it's unlocked.
You do have to put in a SIM.
In any case, I see no reason why you would need to unlock it if you are using the same Network.
We are all happy.

i keep getting the error no valid sim inserted
als i try'd it with telfort an other ducht provider
and it says the same no valid sim
as i mentiont after a 2cnd try it said no restrictions
so plz o mighty guru off unlucking phones help me ...
