Does the media haveto be a CD for PGEN1-2 to work? I burnt it, following instructions on a DVD (which is *NOT* working). Im using a moded PS2...

The roms folder ended up using 909mb so cant fit it on a CD. I looked through the SYSTEM.CNF and compared it to a DVD i know works (AR MAX) and the files were identical. So that cant be the problem. So what is the problem?!

which hdd support?

it can load from a memory card/hdd? or
it can locate and load rom from hdd?

well thats a whole new ball game isnt it? It may not work with DVDs at all, who knows, do some research, some experiments then write a guide and post it up for us all to see and behold

i dont know why you guys are useing CDR's for both PGENS and Snes Station as it is slowly burning your laser out.Recommend useing DVD-R's for both PGENS and Snes just like i do,and they both work with swap magic fine unlike that it might be nes crap....

there are a crap load of games that can fit on a CD, why bother with the DVD. And show me full proof that a CD will slowly burn out the laser

i thought that a gamer like you would have already know its a fact non playstaion formated CD's will slowly kill your laser,I mean ive already been through 2 playstaion 2's useing by useing burnt CD's to play games such as Marvel vs Capcom 2,KOF's, Time Splitters.Will never make that mistake again.You want proof go google it because i aint worried about the warrenty of your ps2:).

i repeat useing non formatted burnt CD's into your ps2 will kill your laser.face the fact kid :)

Oh dear... It's not that big of a deal! Everyone's different! I've been using burnt CD's on my V10 for 2 years and yes it's not as fast as it was, but not by much. That's normal though as a standard PS2 deteriorates by itself on original CD/DVD's in around 2-4 years.
