it should already be there but if not, just make it on the root of your psp drive(ex: E:/ISO)

Hi, Im new here, I just recently bought a downgraded PSP 3.10 oe-a (so you can play homebrewed) and I was wondering how to transfer the games over to it, I am extremely noob at this. I might have some regrets to purchasing this. Can someone please email me the steps in order to transfer the games? I have downloaded several already, and I dont know how to transfer them. I was also told to maybe reformat my memory stick, but would i lose the capability of playing downloaded games? Please email me the steps if you are kind enough, thank you.

Good news, my fellow afterdawners...

I am golden. Running DevHook .51 now, and emulating 3.03. (odd that it works with 0.51, but 0.52 doesn't work at all... *shrugs shoulders* ...I'm not about to complain.)

Thanks to all who have endeavored to assist me thus far. I greatly appreciate it. Before finding afterdawn, I thought the best I could hope for with my psp was to play some nes games, a few gb color games, and watch dl'd movies/videos/tv shows, that had been converted to mp4.

And so there is no confusion, or false hope for anyone that accidentally bricked their ta-082,

No. I didn't fix mine. Once it was bricked, it was bricked. So be more careful than I was. Dont' fret for me, none, though. My replacement (no cost) is the reason for the above testimonial of good tithings.

I have 3.03 OE-C and undesrtand about putting ISo's in the iso folder.
Have used USBSSS to mount UMD drive and am able to copy off the ISo's from UMD's and then put them in the iso folder on the MC. Here's the problem this works fine for games that I own or rent. But recently downloaded an ISO (TMNT), don't know if it is another region but when lauching from memory card PSP reboots as normal, small grahic (looks like a loading graphic) comes up (bottom right), then PSP switches itself off.
1:) Are only certain games playable using 3.03 OE-c?
2:) If yes to question 1, any compatible lists going about?
3:) Do I need to change something in the config menu, region setting etc..?

Thanks for any help offered, take care.

I have the programs i need to downgrade my 3.03 to 1.5 and to upgrade to the custom firmware. This is my first and probably only psp (poor). I was wondering is it worth the risk to downgrade and such so i can play these games? If it is could someone take the time to give me a SUPER SIMPLE step by step from 3.03 to i am currently playing GTA.

Also, i know this is off topic, but I have a bunch of downloaded movies and am currently using 3GP converter. But the frame rates are pretty bad and the quality is not the best at action parts. Is there a free converter that is high quality and will not have the same problems. I AM GRATEFUL TO WHO COULD HELP ME ON EITHER OF THESE SUBJECTS.

Thanks, Mike

Well, I'm new to this, but I've been doing a lotof research on this. From what I hear, if you download UMD ISOs you'll need to downgrade your PSP to version 1.0 to 1.5 to play it. Whatever you do, don't update your PSP to 3.10 (that's what I did without knowing, and now I'm waiting for a response to my thread). But some games might work such as when you try demos, you create a seperate folder in your Memory Stick>PSP>GAMES> to whatever your folder is called. For example when you download the demo Killzone Liberation you create a folder called UCES00279 and put killzone's EBOOT.PBP in there. So if you do download a game you can put it in the Games section and get the folder's name and put your EBOOT.PBP for that game in there. If you don't know what your folder's name is here's what i found out all by myself:

1. Whatever your game is, make sure it's archived in WinRAR.
2. Then open up that game and open up the EBOOT.PBP file with WinRAR (other programs have trouble opening it up)
3. The computer will think for a few seconds and then show you a list of giberash (that's a good thing).
4. On the top paragraph you'll see many things but after "...SYSTEM Version Title" you'll see nine letters and numbers combined together. It can start with UC... or S... or anything. This will most likely be the only set of nine numbers.
5. This is your folder name, make a new on in GAMES, and then extract the EBOOT.PBP.
6. Give it a shot, it might work, but if it doesn't, you'll need hombrew in the previous versions, and then upgrade your HOMEBREW (not the sony update, homebrew has a seperate update).

You might think that I have no life writing this much, but I sympathize with you enough to give you a detailed explanation.
