Yup... I did that for a reason. So I could watch all the videos that have been flagged. How did you find my you tube profile? Was it from the comment I posted on the afterdawn tutorial?

gerr1:

They have condo houses here, and a 3 bedroom/attached garage runs $115,000 is about as cheap as they come. Not sure about the maint fees.

They have condo garages at my nearby lake. 10' x 30' that runs $20,000

Here's some pics I copied from the web listing and the house is spotless:

The land prices for my area is higher because there's 3 Honda Manufacturing plants-autos/motorcycles/atv's/generators/and a slew of parts manufacturers that supply Honda of America. This area of plants compares to Detroit for GM/Ford/and crysler.

When looking for a 3 bedroom house, anything under $80,000 was a pc of crap 100 yr old house, reg trailer,or pc of crap modular with very tiny 56' x 120' lot.

My needs of atleast a 2.5 car garage/3 bedrooms/1.5 baths+/ and a decent looking house, already to move in,then the price goes well past $150,000 and it's nothing fancy. The fancier ones with those features run over $200 k.

Property taxes for this place: $1150 a year, but that's because the locals built new school buildings.

Thanx ger!

We had another manufactured home in line, but it didn't happen.

Built in 2000 on block foundation.2280 sq ft,3 bedrooms,2 baths,2 decks,with ramps,master bath-with jacuzzi tub,huge kitchen with island,gas fireplace,-2 huge living rooms!

It was a repo home,listed for $42,900.

December,it was listed for $56,000,jan-$47,000,mar-$42,900

It wasn't winterized,so a terlet tank was busted, probably all the pipes as well. Dog poo in every room-so the entire carpet-still in good shape, would have had to be steam cleaned by pros.Even the hottub on the deck was froze solid-all the way to the top.

I got the bank-Fannie Mae- down to $41,000,put $500 down. 3 weeks later, the bank said it appraised for $79,000 and wouldn't let it go for that price. That was a load of crap.

But now after talking to neighbors, there's raw sewage leading onto that property,it needed flood insurance-imagine that-I'm at one of the highest elevations in ohio and most of the property mandates for flood insurance. The prior owner had a disabled kid and the health department told them they had to leave the premises.
There's still the dog poo in the house, waiting for the bank to try to sell it again, LOL. If it goes up for sale again, I'm tempted to offer $20,000 and see if it goes!

Morning all! Frost warning right now,and high will be around 70!

Around Bellefontaine Oh. Columbus should be one of the cheapest cities in the US for property. I'm from Shelby County and the property was a heck of a lot cheaper.

You guys/gals may think that sounds cheap, but ex governor Bob Taft made us around the 2nd highest taxed state. You practically need to buy a permit to wipe your a**!

After clinton signed nafta, there went a lot of our factories down to Mexico.

Another thing we have, not sure of how other states do- Some school districts have separate school taxes. These aren't your normal property taxes, which go for the school. These so called school taxes are a separate income tax for the schools, and usually another 1%-1.5% off your paycheck-which is total bullpucky.

Taft gave factories a big tax break on their year end inventory-which went to the schools, but now- we citizens have to make up for that. That's why there are record numbers of School levies, throwing school taxes on the ballots.

Thank god that idiot-Taft- is gone!!

@Saugmon...working in what is (essentially) an unemployment office (I work with educational grants), my coworkers are still struggling the with effects of both clinton and bush's free trade agreements...add to that both legal and illegal immigrants, the guys face a true nightmare trying to get people employed when an increasing number of employers are laying off good employees to hire people at slaves' wages. I had a number of them referred to me just this week for educational grants because, under the present circumstances, they're considered "unemployable" ... and these are good, hardworking people losing their jobs. While I joke around alot about many of the wierdo's I see in this office, I see a lot of good people in desperate situations. They say the economy is doing so much better but anyone who works in a job center wonders what planet these guys are on!

Edit: Next week, I'm spending four full days in Harrisburg listening to lectures on the legal aspects of both the clinton and bush free trade agreements. Lucky me! I'll be totally lobotomized in about an hour. I think I'd enjoy a root canal more (no offense there, garmoon LOL!)

I'm on dial-up, How much faster Polyarny?

Being in an apartment,I get no cable,so strictly phone hookup via Sprint/Embarq DSL-which totally sucked a** or dial-up, LOL. I'd like to get RoadRunner.

I'm not sure what options I'll have out in the country, probably the same options as I have now?

its definitely better than with IE, i noticed when i was downloading the new install my download speed stayed right around six kbps, and when i was downloading the new themes twas a little faster. it still sucks but definitely better than with IE. as for options out in the country, i dont know if you are in the states, but my girlfriends mom works for AT&T and they are working on this thing called U-Verse. they ship all of your connections: tv, phone, high speed internet, through fiber optics. pretty interesting stuff actually, they are testing it somewhere in the southwest, not really sure as to the exact location though. bout the same cost as what youd be paying now for all of those. even lets you do picture in picture even if your tv doesnt support the format. ill have to look into it some more, ill ask her if i can see the specs for it again if i remember. only down side is they send the fiber optics to those big grenn power nodes that you sometimes see around, and the farther you are away from one the worse the quality gets, but its a step in the right direction for all us "in the sticks" people. lol

I live in Redmond in the sticks, and all of our power, phone, and cable are underground, so that makes up for the nodes. I have comcast right now for TV phone and internet and love it. It is all threw fiber optics and it is amazing. Do you have Cable out near your new house?

I don't know. There's an old nursing home just up from me-200 yds,and a brand new nursing home they built beside that old one, further up the road-still using both nursing homes. That new home is suppose to be hi-tech.

@Loco...should be beautiful ... I particularly like the bouganvilla because it flowers constantly. When I lived in miami, we had it growing everywhere and in all colors.

I'm actually looking forward to all of them as they all have a long bloom period with the exception of the azalea. Two seasons (spring and summer) for the bouganvilla and Whisteria and three (spring, summer and autumn) for the hibiscus. I just hope we don't kill them...we don't exactly have green thumbs in my house. :P
