As we have explained you cannot use this on your Starview box it just wont work the v4 if you have a genuine box is available or the clone v2.57 are you on the C***** network can you confirm thanks

Let me know how u get on with the newbridge stuff . have to get one for a relative down there!
by the way with 'true cable' digital u can get all the channels that n*l and ch**us broadcast in (dublin)ireland ...

No you do not get all the channels that they get in dub they have a limit of 60 channels up here for some reason as my neighbor are all on digital plus sly1 is gone now as well

they changed the codes and the last time they changed the v4 autorolled but for some reason this time it did not work but have that in hand now so should have no probs getting the code from now on if you get my drift also it took a week to get the new ones

Hi foad, have you tried to do 'Set Default Key'. Do Menu -> 1570 , and just above EMU, there is 'Set Default Key'. Select this and press OK. Then exit back out to the channels, select a scrambled one, and wait for a minute to see if the keys update.

Reidpaul. That sounds like someone did a factory reset on your box. The menu you have on screen, is it the Language selection screen? If so, select the language, that will bring you to the Main Menu, and proceed with the installation, select provider, scan etc.

I see that ferg. I've been in and out all day, so I'm trying to catch up all round.
I've just started putting the web-site together, it's a very rough effort at the moment, just to get the info more easily available.
As usual, I'm having trouble uploading stuff from home, so it's taking even longer.

if you go to the bottom or ryan post and click the link you will get the new v2.57 for clone which i recommend as it autoroll the code for you

Evening all , I updated "The Box" for a guy in work , had problems with Flash Failed error , several times , I used his cable he got with it , after 3 times I decided to try it with my null modem cable and voila , worked first time lol

Fergus Do you know of an earlier version as i am trying to fix a problem with a box that gives a distorted picture . sound is ok. I have a different box working fine on 2.57 fixed . I have Flashed the software from the box and the pc and the image is improving all the time but I hope if i go to an earlier version it might fix itself and the i will update to the later version. Thanks
