dvd shrink and encryption problems with backing up 21 and 88 minutes

i am new to ripping dvds and would like to know if there is new encryption on newer releases. i have burned about 4 movies and now i have 2 that wont even read in my windows media player. keeps saying it cant read disk.
anyone else have this problem or know how to fix let me know .
the movies i cant burn are 21 and 88mins

DVD Shrink is no longer updated and therefore may require assistance on some newer releases. Try ripping to your hard drive using DVDFab HD Decryptor. It is free and kept up to date. Once you have the files there, you can open them and compress to DVD 5 using DVD Shrink and then burn to disk with a burning program such as ImgBurn, also free. Here is a LINK to download DVDFab.
Edit: Or you could just click on the link provided by Locoeng (which is also the second one in my signature), as he got his posted while I was still typing.
