i downloaded alomost every free thing i could get from the first link but now i have a different prb i useed dvdfab and i couldnt figure out how to get the file to burn in dvd decrypter then i downloaded ripit4me and it keeps haveing issues with dvd decrypter as well i have shrinkto 5 and dvd rebuilderv0.98.1 and those 2 are slow and i dont know if they will even let me burn anything.
the prob i have with dvd shrink is it keeps saying after i open the file and go to back it up it says dvd shrink has encountered an error the specified folder is invalid access denied anyone know how to get around that or a different shrink program that would work better?? thanks all

DVD Decryptor will not burn files it will have to be an ISO Image. Or better yet just use ImgBurn for all your burning needs.
DVD Shrink and DVD Rebuilder, both will shrink your files down to DVD 5, but each have their own purpose. Shrink is a transcoder and works good down to a certain level of compression, whereas DVD Rebuilder is an encoder and will keep near perfect quality at high levels of compression. Needless to say rebuilder can take quite a bit longer to process.

ive been using only 4 programs to rip and burn..DvdShrink,DvdFab,DvdDecrypter and of course NERO which is a must have for me. Try a reset your PC and a good defrag always helps me when i see that error. There are other programs out there, use whats best for you, then there is always help from the people here at AD.

1. Very poor title for this thread. You should edit the title to something a bit more descriptive before a Mod sees it and shuts it down.
2. Proper punctuation is your friend and ally.
3. Imgburn is the updated version of the burn engine from Dvd Decrypter, it's your best bet for a burn engine.
4. Did you happen to read any of the guides that were in the link you were provided elsewhere. There are guides that walk you through the entire process, with screenshots.

Thanks to ddp and LOCOENG for their thread title editing double-act. :)
@bull2152
Here's a link that walks you through setting up Dvd Shrink to autoburn with Imgburn. Follow that and it should help.
A CRC error is usually associated with either a dirty or scratched disc, or inferior blank media. Make sure the disc you are ripping is not dirty or scratched up.
Also, make sure not to multi task while using Shrink as it does take up a lot of memory to transcode, especially on a single core processor.
And always remember the more information you can give, the better equipped we are to help you out.

What first link ?
And 2, have you tried using the search function as to what you are backing up? Your project may have (most likely) been done before and your solution lies only a couple clicks away.

Saying something "won't work" doesn't do much for you in the help department. As previously stated the more details you give the more we can help you.
