Right! I do have IE 8 installed. Could this be the problem? I'd 7 before I had to reinstalled XP recently and DVD Shrink always worked.

It's an adult movie. I used DVD Dycripter to copy it to my hard drive first like I've done many time before.

Uninstall IE8 and either revert to 7 or get FireFox.

Thanks fellas! I too both advised and removed IE8 and now DVD Shrink is working as I expected. It had not crashed after removing IE8. I'm now back to IE6. Is it safe to go back to IE8 again or just go back to 7? It's all good. Do you have any advise on how to make DVD Shrink run faster. It's a bit slower than I was use to before. And both my burners are 16X

You should be fine with IE7, i'd stay away from 8 as we've seen this happen a few times.

A lot of variables involved in that.

Good call fellas, thread title amended accordingly. Guess we're going to see a spate of browser-related problems for a while.

Are you thinking a sticky is in order?
This isn't the first, and like you said, we may see a few more of these for a bit.

Okay, have added a couple more IE 8 links to the sticky, just the Google Chrome thread to find, though we can obviously just use the IE 8 links as it's the same difference.
