DVD Shrink locks up my Computer

Lately, when I click on the DVD Shrink icon on my desktop it locks up the computer and I must reboot. I have used DVD Shrink for 3 years and it has never done this before. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the same thing happens. No other program on my computer behaves this way. Any suggestions for getting the program to work properly again?

csykes, I would really like to here the answer to ferguj1 queston. I have an issue with shrink myself that I have'nt been able to resolve yet. If you have backed up on a cd try running it off the cd. I can run shrink off a cd but not my HDDs. Only thing is shrink does'nt hang my box up. Matter of fact the call just gets canceled Your the only other person I've read to have a simlar issue to mine I'd like to hear if you've done something different lately. I cant remember doing anything myself.
