Some DVD+R DL backups don't play on my PS3 and...

I don't know why. Some work flawlessly and some just don't play. They will freeze up at some point before the dvd menu comes up.

I do DVD Decrypter ---> FixVTS ---> Nero Burning Rom on Verbatim DVD+R DLs. I'll do this with one movie and it plays fine and the next movie may not.

So, I don't know if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, but can people who don't have this problem tell me their method and I'll just backup one of the movies that do not work following your method and see what happens. Any replies would be appreciated.

I use AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 for dual layer, works every time when played back in PS3.

I can burn almost anything on Verbatim & it works.Also i use ImgBurn or Nero to burn my DL & Booktype them to DVD-ROM.

I determined the solution. Not sure what the problem is. It works as long as I rip and burn an ISO image of the disc using Nero (you could use of course imgbrn also). Not sure why burning an image work and ripping/burning all the video files doesn't, even when I use FixVTS. Something the PS3 doesn't like about it.
