i have sworn by DVD shrink for years and now since ALL my pc's are running Crappy Vista the prog is comming up with some freaky error codes. Even tried it on my daughters laptop but its still freaky...... HELP!!! I have a shit load of movies to do and were on a deadline.........

You said you have a shit of load to do? What kind of movies? And what are the errors you got? In order for us to help you, you got to post all the error you are having..and by the way dvdshrink is incompariable with vista.. Old program like dvdshrink wont work with new O.S like Vista..and likewise I rather stick with windows XP even though I have O.S Vista. If you wish to convert your Operating System to the new Vista be prepare to spend money on your new software like clonedvd2 or you can use Imgburm (free programe) to burn your movie. But I am comfortable with nero 7 and dvdshrink and Imgburn and also have clonedvd2 with me. Vista is good to look at but I consider it worse than WINDOWS XP.

Sam, when running shrink you must be logged on as admininstrator,

You have found a newer movie that shrink cannot handle.Soooooo


1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version)
2) process files (all) with fixvts
3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD
4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn

all programs are free

I ended up going back to XP lol

Then..... I attempted to burn Sex in the City.... damn chick flicks!! But i got it well sorts lol i'm getting there. i guess you can say i'm old school :(
