I need help installing Umbuntu on my PS3

Ok I got stuck on the famous 15% glitch and I know the workaround by killinkg processes on the live cd before installing. I still have two problems...

1.When I go to "system" drop down menu the first time to kill processes I cannot go back to it. It is replaced by "live user". How do I get back into "system" to finish killing processes?

2. While going through installation I cannot see the bottom of the windows so it makes it very hard to complete installing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
